Re-Doing Failed Shoulder Surgery

Re-doing failed shoulder surgery is a big part of our practice. In one way, we can be called repeat surgery specialists. These cases are referred to us from all over north India. Case 2 : This 75 year old lady sustained a shoulder fracture. The same was operated at a well known hospital of Delhi for fracture of upper end of the arm bone. The operation failed. She was in terrible pain and was not able to lift her shoulder. We had to perform the surgery again, which consisted of removing the old bolts and screws and replacement of the damaged shoulder to a reverse shoulder. Her pain disappeared, and she is back to normal function.
